The campus art gallery is now open for the spring seasonby Theresa Hioki.Photo by Emmanuel RosarioThe City College Art Gallery in Compton-Goethals Hall opened its spring season with a two-week show featuring the works of the Art Department faculty. At recent gallery talks, professors and adjuncts explained the details and process behind their work. Some showcased works of traditional art mediums such as watercolors and ceramics, while others used more progressive media like interactive computer sites and video installations.Tom Thayer (shown here), one of 40 faculty members to show at the exhibition, will have work featured in the Whitney Biennial opening on March 1st and running until May 27th.
