Do you take selfies? I take selfies. The Campus' social media coordinator, Jaquelin Bautista, is a selfie expert; she is in charge of branding our beautiful magazine on social media. She has praised and critiqued 😅 my selfies based on lighting, composition, angle, background, and props. I took the photos with the iPhone 6. Enjoy!
Selfie #1
Location: Nat Holman Gymnasium in the Marshak Science Building
Caption: Deuces at the CCNY Club Fair in the gym.
Review: Wow! What a great selfie. The lighting is bright and even. The solidbackground really allows for the eye to focus on the subject. A lower anglemight not always be a flattering angle but Clark knows his angles. Bonus pointsfor the playful peace sign and duck face.

Selfie #2
Location:Shepard Hall Lawn
Caption:Gray day in front of an epic facade.
Review: Again another lower angle, but Clark is really making this shot workby capturing Shepard Hall’s best angle. Lighting is just right, you can see thedetails in the architecture. The glasses add spunk to this picture, no facialexpression required!

Review:This selfie definitely has a lot of personality. Whilethe lighting isn’t optimal, you can’t ask for too much from the financial aidoffice. Adding a snack into this shot really brought back life into thislocation and selfie. Another low shot, be sure to switch up the angle.

Selfie #6
Location:3rd Floor of Shepard Hall (BathroomLook-Alike/Hallway)
Caption: Eating a pear, apparently.
Review: The lighting in this selfie is a little rough, I suggest turningaround so you’re facing the window. The background of this selfie is slightlybland. However, a pear will always add some funk to a shot.

Selfie #8

Caption: This out-of-tune piano gives non-music major students the chance to explore their musicality and play their favorite songs.
Review:The lighting in this photo is not optimal, try facingthe window next time. This way you aren’t backlit. Despite the lighting, thisis a casual selfie that depicts your musical side, it’s always nice to showyour personality in your selfies.

Selfie #10
Location:Compton & Goethals Basement
Caption: This facility's workspace has good lighting. I wonder how many facilities employees take selfies on the job.
