Breaking News: Cohen Library Closed Indefinitely After Raccoon Sighting

The Office of the Vice President of Operations announced Monday morning, March 25 that the Cohen Library in The North Academic Center is closed until further notice because a live raccoon was seen inside. The office promised students to keep them updated as to the situation within the library and the campus at large.
This events occurs as students hastily study for finals and return to the university after the weekend. Various study areas in the NAC are still open, as well as the other libraries around campus - although it is unclear if their hours are extended.

Dear CCNY Campus Community:
“Due to a wild raccoon seen in the Cohen Library in the North Academic Center (NAC), the Library will be closed until further notice.
As always the administration's main concern is for the safety of our students, faculty and staff.
We will continue to monitor the situation and will inform the community as soon as there are any updates.
